Job Summary :

We are seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology trained physician to join us in pursuit of high-quality
patient care.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Two-four years clinical experience in an outpatient setting
• Patient centered approach toward a positive patient experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Interest in Population Health
• Laparoscopically trained

Responsibilities :

• Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and
examination results. Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
• Review patient’s history and perform physical examination.
• Care for and treat women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.
• Treat diseases of female organs.
• Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Perform cesarean sections or other surgical procedures as needed to preserve patients' health and
deliver babies safely.
• Prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent
illness, disease, or injury.
Procedures may include but not limited to: Biopsy (cervical, endometrial, skin, vaginal, vulvar),
cystoscopy, colposcopy, insertion and removal of subdermal contraception, IUD placement, Intrauterine
Pressure Catheter Placement, Ultrasound and surgery, laparoscopic, and open procedures as well as
cesarean sections are performed.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or foreign equivalent
• Completion of four year post graduate medical training from an accredited residency program in
area of practice
• Completion of three year post graduate medical training from an accredited fellowship program in
obstetrics and gynecology.
• Laparoscopically trained
• Seeking both experienced and newly trained providers
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Must possess current, unrestricted New York State license.
• Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration
• Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll
• BLS or ACLS certification required
• Must possess strong communication skills both oral and written
• Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office

Union roles covered by a collective bargaining agreement will compensate in accordance with the union contract.
