Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree

  • Epic Certified in related application required

  • Maintains Epic certification and New Version Testing certification in assigned application module.  Obtains cross training (credentialed) in other applications as needed

  • Minimum 4 – 6 years in a training position, including 2 years using Epic applications required

  • Capacity to manage multiple competing objectives and to communicate results in clear and unambiguous terms to management and end user personnel required

  • Knowledge of and the ability to use PC-based word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software to create teaching/learning materials and documentation required

  • Understanding of e-learning techniques required

  • Excellent knowledge of English grammar and spelling for use in both verbal and written communication and record maintenance required

  • Ability to plan and develop learning objectives and course materials, maintain accurate documentation and statistical data, and provide follow-up evaluation required

  • Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and assignments accurately within a set time frame and to function under challenging situations in a calm and rational manner required

  • Ability to develop and adhere to time schedules in order to meet project deadlines and to sequence activities logically required

  • Sharp attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy while compiling statistical data and course materials required

  • Regular need to work effectively with wide range of very senior to very junior people under training project and ad hoc conditions required

  • Interpersonal skills at a level to function well in a wide range of administrative, management and patient care environments showing understanding, patience, and tact when dealing with physicians, staff, and the public preferred

  • Knowledge of training and documentation through education or equivalent work experience required

This compensation range is specific and considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business considerations. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the work is being performed. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. Union roles covered by a collective bargaining agreement will compensate in accordance with the union contract.
