An Application Systems Analyst is the primary support contact for ACP Clinical, Revenue Cycle and Business Applications. Responsible for gathering specifications, conducting research, applications enhancements, testing and providing user support in accordance with ACP’s policies, procedures, and business operations. Analysis and support is accomplished in a team environment.


  • Provides support of project, daily and ad-hoc requests regarding various applicable clinical and business systems. Troubleshoots problems and questions from end user. Ensures all system issues are logged, prioritized and tracked through the resolution stage while escalating critical issues to management.
  • Performs analysis of workflows, data, system details, and other technical or business issues associated with the application. Analyzes new functionality in releases to recommend how it should be used to prioritize and implement requested changes to the system.
  • Interfaces with key IT, clinical, business and operations staff to assist in the development of efficient workflows. Analyzes business operations as they relate to build decisions.
  • Participates in testing system enhancements (i.e. new modules, upgrades, product installs), and performs rigorous testing of new codes, templates, scripts, etc., to deliver high-quality end-user solutions.
  • Solves moderately complex problems and develops solutions to tasks or projects which may be unique, using judgment and initiative.
  • Performs other job-related duties as required.


  • Bachelor’s Degree related field or relevant work experience
  • Relevant EPIC  Certification
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years systems design and analysis experience including 1 -2 years in-depth EPIC experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Visio
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Familiarity with PC Hardware and software skills
  • Experience and knowledge of common clinical and revenue cycle workflows
